Hello, friends.

As you surely know, all things must pass, and it’s our duty to inform you that our good friend Ryan Chapman will no longer be playing bass in Red Jacket Mine. The split is entirely amicable, and we wish Ryan the best of luck in his future musical endeavors. (Keep an ear tuned to Rhubarb Jackson.) Immense thanks to our friend Brian Saunders, who’s helping us hold down the low end during this transition.

Not ones to waste any time, we’re very excited to be making our debut at one of Seattle’s premier rock clubs, Neumos (925 E. Pike Street on Capitol Hill) this Tuesday, May 4, opening for Austin, TX roots-rockers Reckless Kelly (Yep Roc Records). This is a rare all-ages (bar w/ ID) show for Red Jacket Mine, so bring your kid brother!

Tickets are available online via eTix, and doors open at 8pm, with RJM taking the stage at 8:30. We’ve been itching to play Neumos for many years, so we hope you all can celebrate with us!
