after a while…the crocodile!

May 4th, 2009

Hello, friends!

Red Jacket Mine is playing one of its biggest shows ever this Thursday, May 7 at the newly-reopened Crocodile (2200 2nd Avenue in downtown Seattle). There’s been a crocodile-sized hole in our hearts ever since its sudden closure over a year ago, so we’re incredibly excited to be playing at this legendary venue again!

The bill is chock-full of great local bands:

RED JACKET MINE
The Banyans
Amateur Radio Operator
Mostly Dimes

The whole thing gets rolling at 8pm sharp. Tickets are $8, available in advance at the Crocodile box office.

This is sure to be one of our biggest shows of the year, and we need YOUR help to make it great! We’ve got a very special guest in the works, so you won’t want to miss this one. If you haven’t checked out the Croc’s snazzy new interior yet, here’s your excuse! Find more info on the Crocodile web site.

Also, after months/years of stubborn resistance, Red Jacket Mine is finally a member of the Facebook community. If you are, too, please become a fan!

See you all this Thursday at the Crocodile…bring your friends!
