Red Jacket Mine

Friends:

Red Jacket Mine is delighted to announce its return to the hallowed halls of Ballard’s Tractor Tavern, this Thursday, March 5! We’ll be supporting LA lads Everest, who’ve spent the last couple of years burning up the road with the likes of My Morning Jacket, Wilco, and Mr. Neil Young (who owns their record label, Vapor). Fine company, then!

Needless to say, we’re very happy to be sharing this bill. Our close friends Burning Rivers will open the show, so be sure to get there early, and keep an eye out for the latest addition to their ranks – a certain handsome gentleman wielding a near-pink Telecaster! Their songs are some of the best you’ll hear all year, too. Show starts at 9pm, RJM is up second, and the cover is $8 (advance tickets available here).

Two days later, on Saturday, March 7, we’ll join Seattle pals Friday Mile and locals Friskey in rocking Tacoma’s New Frontier Lounge. We can’t believe it’s taken us this long to get down to Tacoma (a mere 30 miles away!), but we plan to make up for lost time with this fantastic show.

After that, we head back into Soundhouse Recording with our pal Ken Stringfellow to mix our new record, Lovers Lookout. That’s right, folks—that means NEW MUSIC will be ready for your consumption very soon! Watch this space for all the details as they develop.

As spring gives way to another glorious Seattle summer, we’ve got lots of great shows coming up at home and abroad. Keep an eye on the Shows page for a date near you!

Until then, thanks as always for listening. See you this Thursday at the Tractor!
